Winter Snow and Ice Management Divisions
We have immediate openings for the following positions within our Winter Maintenance Division:
Snow removal crew members and forepersons
Heavy Equipment Operators
Plow Truck Drivers
Salt Truck Drivers
We are looking for reliable employees who will come to work during the winter season to help clear snow and control ice at a variety of locations throughout the Hamilton / Burlington area.
Have to be able to work a variety of shifts (days/afternoons/nights when necessary).
A minimum 1 years experience preferred for all equipment operators and truck drivers for the upcoming season.
For shovelling crews and forepersons, experience preferred but not necessary.
All drivers / forepersons must be able to keep accurate records of sites completed, and materials used.
Hours to work based on winter weather conditions throughout the season.
Proposed Hourly Rates:
$20 to $25 per hour based on experience and ability
Perfect for students who are looking to make some extra money over the winter while they study.
Summer Maintenance and Construction positions starting in April, 2023.
Lawn Maintenance Crew members and Forepersons
Looking for reliable employees for both our Maintenance division for the upcoming season. Minimum 2 years experience for all crew foreperson positions. All other positions, experience is preferred, but not necessary as we will train the right person to join our team.
Hours of work will be based on Weather conditions. May include work on weekends if there is rain during the week
Responsibilities include:
Cutting grass, whipping edges of sidewalks and gardens, garden bed maintenance including cultivating and weeding, planting of annuals and placing of mulch within garden areas as requested, Foreperson will be responsible to ensuring all works are completed by the crew, and accurate route sheets and time sheets are completed for the crews work on a daily basis. Basic knowledge of all equipment is an asset.
Wages: Foreperson $25 - $30 per hour based on experience
Crew Member - $20 to $22 per hour based on experience
Construction Crew Foreperson and Members
Looking for reliable workers to work within our Construction Division. Forepersons require a minimum of 2 years of experience within the landscape construction field
Responsibilities Include
Working as part of a team to complete projects on time and on budget. Projects will include Park Redevelopment, Site restoration and residential landscaping works. Scope of work to include excavation of site, placement of granular and sub-grade materials, install interlocking paving stone, installation of retaining walls and seat walls, planting of trees and shrubs, and laying of sod to name a few.
Site Foreperson will be responsible for ensuring the crew remains on schedule throughout the project. Accurate paperwork and time sheet completion for your crew will be necessary. Providing direction to all members to complete tasks, and be a liaison between the Project Manager and the Owner when necessary. Site foreperson will attend all site meetings as necessary.
Wages:
Construction Foreperson: $25 to $30 per hour based on experience
Crew Member: $21 to $26 per hour based on experience
Ciccarelli supplies all PPE required for works, and extended health benefits will be offered after 3 months work.
